INFORMATION ABOUT SS SHAKEDOWN
Elfyn Evans and Sébastien Ogier were both penalised following incorrect procedure in virtual chicane on shakedown stage.
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): Feeling quite good, we tried to make a big jump just to see how the car is over the longer, bigger ones but the feeling is good and hopefully we can do well. The car, seems to be landing on it's nose a bit, but we'll take care of it. We'll have some fun.
(24 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): That is quite my feeling now! It is absolutely amazing to be here! I think we'll enjoy the weekend and drive as fast as we can. There were so many people on the road in the forest so we'll use that as a big boost and keep going.
(23 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): Very fun stage, lots of jumps, just getting into the rhythm of the rally. I'm just trying to build my speed as it is my first time here in a Rally2 car so let's see how it goes.
(22 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I watched the video of WRC cars, we did it in previous years and we know it is possible to go fast.
(20 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): Always impressive when you come back here, it is not natural road for me but we are here for work. For sure the recce is not easy, lots of muddy sections.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It is amazing, Ruuhimäki is such an iconic stage and I never did it before! It is so cool with a big jump, really slippery. You have to focus a bit on the driving to get the stage. I never did Ouninpöhja but when I looked at my dad's onboard 100 million times, it's magical to do it in person.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): Quite a lot of smiles, it is really amazing. I need to work to make the driving more clean and have a better flow, but we are enjoying a lot and it is the best thing in rally you can do. There is a lot of learning to do, the competition is so high and the comparison is a little bit silly to do, but I think the improvement will come.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): Really looking forward to the rally, with the shakedown it is only a small taste of what it is like so we are looking forward to tomorrow. Here there are some big jumps with some very fast corners where you need to commit.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It was not too bad, I thought on the last rally that the feeling is fine so we cannot really trust that. I don't know what others said but it was a bit slippery. Ouninpöhja is top, really top stage.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I need to jump a lot of the jumps in here! Quite okay, quite slippery in some places but quite good fun. Longest jumps every jump is the target!
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's really cool to be in the home rally finally, it is the highlight of the season for sure. It is not going to be an easy one and we are missing the result from here.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I didn't expect the car to land on the nose after a jump, we just had a call from air traffic control, there was an unidentified vehicle in there but don't worry, it was only us!
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It's been a while, very excited, lots of nice stages and Ouninpöhja is back so I am looking forward to it. It is always something magical and it is the biggest rollercoaster you can drive in a rally car!
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It looks like a really nice rally, looking forward to it. It looks like it could be low-grip conditions. We want to go for the win, the weather makes it a bit more realistic.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It is a very challenging one as well, you can drive here as much as you want, it never gets easier. You can drive in Estonia, Latvia, Poland, they are all different. You need the ultimate precision. |
