INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1 | |
(45 - Jeets Gregor / Taniel Timo): retired before start
(44 - Kogure Hikaru / Luhtinen Topi): It's raining so it is quite slippery, I really enjoyed. Quite good feeling.
(43 - Korhola Benjamin / Virtanen Sebastian): It's really nice, last year I won my class but this time it will not be the target. I was not expecting it to be that slippery, we were sliding all the way! It's nice, feels nice and tomorrow the rally really starts.
(41 - Asunmaa Teemu / Mannisenmäki Ville): Target is for a good result, but also no enemies and to keep quite good level in the competition and have fun also. That is a very important point. It started raining and it is very slippery, all the drivers in front were in the dry so we've lost quite a lot. Tomorrow the real race starts and hopefully we can have good time.
(40 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): The challenges are different now, still we have to push and show what we can do. Stages are really nice but we have to go flat out and take some risks there, as that is the only way we can push.
(37 - Yamamoto Yuki / Salminen Marko): It's really amazing, bit more faster than last year and much faster than this year. I am excited about it and looking forward to tomorrow.
(35 - Lindholm Emil / Hämäläinen Reeta): It's incredible, to see so many people, to see how much people are enjoying this is fantastic, highlight of the year for sure.
(34 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Pascaud Loris): Very unlucky for us, this time we have the rain, in Poland we opened it. It is like that, it's ok, we carry on.
(38 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): It will be a weekend of discovery that's for sure, it is so difficult to realise on the recce the line. Already and on shakedown, I realised how fast it was and how little grip there was.
(30 - Prokop Martin / Ernst Michal): In was surprised because I watched RallyTV before and it was not so slippery. I had some understeer at the start, nearly went into a wall! We're looking forward to tomorrow.
(28 - Virves Robert / Lesk Aleks): It was much more slippery than I expected.
(27 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): This was quite tricky when it is slippery in places, let's see. Of course we want to fight in the top places, proper rally style.
(31 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): It is quite slippery, but it is okay. Last year we broke a rear arm here, the run is still so long. We are here and tomorrow, the proper race starts.
(23 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): Very tricky, I don't know if it was raining a bit more but I was trying to make the corners and the car was just not turning. It was very, very slippery!
(22 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): Difficult to say, I don't know what conditions were like for Solberg. Everyone knows it's not something to expect for the next days because we need to prepare for the fast roads not the square corners.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's a good start, but the real stuff starts tomorrow. We are looking forward, it was a difficult shakedown for us this morning and we had some problems with the car. Hopefully tomorrow everything is working like it should be.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): I'm looking forward to it, I don't really know what to expect, where we're going to be. It's an incredible rally, incredibly challenging but really fun at the same time. Let's see for tomorrow.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): A lot of confidence in the car and everything going on is what it will take, but we're here to do our best and enjoy the weekend.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I always have a chance when we start the rally so I believe in my chance tomorrow and we'll see what we can do. There are a lot of nice stages, we'll see what we can do on the road and with the weather.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): That was really slippery, we were searching for the grip. It is really good to start, we know we are in Finland and tomorrow will be different, but we are looking forward to it.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): That is fine that Katsuta was quicker, this is always a tricky stage to start the rally and it felt narrower in places. I just wanted to get it done, we are through and tomorrow the rally starts. It is such an exciting rally to do. Tomorrow is a big day.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Kalle and I are local here so we know every corner, every cutting and every step. We just double checked! I hope we did a good job of the stage and we will go flat out tomorrow.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I didn't expect there to be some dirt so we ran wide and the exit was very poor, lucky I checked on the recce that the exit was empty. It was not on purpose but I tried to attack this corner. It was stupid!
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's a fun stage for the atmosphere and for the spectator, but with a Rally1 car it is quite narrow, sometimes the grip was there, sometimes not, but tomorrow is a completely different story.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): Very special moment, always nice atmosphere here on the Harju stage but I am not sure how much I was enjoying due to the condition, 500hp and the power but there we go, we are excited for tomorrow.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): That's weird, I just took it easy. Didn't wore my tyres enough at the start and I was way too careful on the first bit, but second lap was decent.
(24 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): It's yeehaw again! A nice stage, quite slippery in some places but very good grip in some places. It was an enjoyable drive.
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): I was a little bit surprised how slippery it was in a couple of places, but not too bad. We had fun in there.
(32 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): I'm not the master of super special stages, but the grip was very weird, I was a bit too careful on the braking but luckily we are here.
(26 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): If it stays like that then I'll be happy because I suck at this stage! I had a clean run, but I'll always hate this stage. The rest of the weekend will be the best weekend of the year, but I hate this one. At least we're done with it.
(29 - McErlean Joshua / Fulton James): Another big weekend ahead, it's like Christmas Eve tonight. Hopefully we'll get some sleep and wake up happy tomorrow morning.
(39 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Hänninen Juho): Even the last generation is still here, we have the young generation, the challenge generation and me and Juho Hänninen!. It's a great car, great product and great experience. I have to get to the close, so let's see if we can beat the young boys. Very excited to be here. |
