INFORMATION ABOUT SS 5
retired (85 - Martinez André / Aranguren Matías): accident in SS 5
retired (44 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): broken suspension in SS 5
flash info (2 - Salvi Diogo / Coronado Axel): Look, at beginning I was three times off slowly. Tempo is going up a bit. Trying to learn the car and saying Hi to the fans - can't miss that part, very important.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): Very difficult yeah. It's changing all the time, sometimes you run wide and then next corner there's good grip. Having to trust. It's been an okay loop, quite nice. Stayed out of trouble.
flash info (22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): I don't know if you call it progress, we call it experience. Of course the morning was unfortunate, but we're taking it steady and we'll see what the second loop brings. I think it'll be more demanding on everything.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): We made some changes, but the stage characteristics are different. The one before had a lot of grip and this one is super soft, didn't get grip. Hope we can do something about it in remote service.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): We tried to do some small changes to the car to help with the feeling. Some sections are better, but doing a full stage with a good flow is tricky. Not easy. We changed something with the diffs and dampers.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): It's not comfortable in the car. Very slippy in this stage. Not a perfect drive, hesitated in some places and a few surprises. No moments, quite okay.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): Technologia! I have a really good feeling with the car. The grip is really low in this stage, it's crazy. I had a big push. Good tyre choice.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): We put the hard tyre on for this one, was clearly not a good choice. Was very damp, we had to wrestle the car quite a lot. The battle is intense.
flash info (17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): Someone is faster by seven and good to see it's me! Not happy with the car for the first two stages. Really trying to stay in the fight for the win. Made a lot of adjustments in the morning.
flash info (1 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Very very slippery, 0 grip! I've been pushing hard. Made a small mistake which cost me roughly 8 seconds, but i'm pushing. Not getting a good feeling, missing reactivity. Not trusting it all the time, that's where I lose time. I need to find a rhythm that'll get me through the day.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Same for me. The conditions are very different to previous years. The roads are super slick. No grip anywhere, difficult to drive. We could've made a better tyre choice, we struggled with the car also. Not the best, but we're here.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Quite different to all the others. The sand has compacted with the rain and it's like a glass top. So slippy and difficult to judge. I drove quite frustratingly too, sliding a lot. Chances are it's gonna break up and improve.
