INFORMATION ABOUT SS 20
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): What a great weekend. Huge thanks to the team. Amazing car again on tarmac. Points buffer? Not sure. Long way to go and too early to talk about that. We have to just enjoy this one.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I know the reason, but that's the way it is. Didn't manage it this weekend. Not a bad rally either. The gap to Elfyn was made in one stage with the road position. The rest was, even with the struggle, not far away.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): Feeling is good, obviously. Nice to be back on the podium. Shame about Portugal, it was going well. Solid days from us this weekend. It's a shame that this was the last tarmac rally with these cars. I hope there are more good things come in the future. Thank you to everyone.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Sorry for the Japanese fans. We are not able to even take a podium. My dream continues. I keep pushing. Thank you to the team for preparing this car on tarmac. Special thanks to the whole Japanese fans. I'll try next year, get a victory for you.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It is the end of a Rally1 on tarmac so that was beautiful stage to finish. There has been some good years with this car. We wanted to finish a bit higher than this. It is joy to drive this car. we had a good stage this was very nice.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): At least we enjoyed that last one. It wasn't perfect in terms of balance and I was fighting the understeer, but I somehow gave it a try. Wanted to have a smile at the end and say that we've done the maximum we had. We couldn't find any improvement this weekend, a real struggle. We're happy to go on gravel and have more chances of great results.
flash info (20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Obviously lucky to have driven this car for three rallies. Big thanks to the team, who've made us feel welcome and helped us. I loved it, even on a surface I don't prefer. Gravel next? Look - who knows. Too early to say. Focus is on finishing this weekend.
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It's good to be at the finish. We haven't quite had the pace we had in Croatia, just not been able to get close as that. Still good to drive these cars for the final time on tarmac. The tyre started to go away on the front. Still - fantastic to drive these cars on tarmac. We almost got a stage win in Croatia and I'm sure we can still keep improving. Need to come back stronger now on gravel.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): Tricky weekend for us. Coming here for the fans and they're absolutely phenomenal, makes you feel like a superstar. Difficult period for us on tarmac. We've learnt a lot along way and it was a great pleasure to be with Rally1 on tarmac. Looking forward to the gravel events now.
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Wasn't clean enough to have the maximum. Let's see. A push it was - that's for sure. I didn't get the tyres to work early enough. Disappointed with the whole weekend. Great to get to Japan with all the fans, a dream come true. Yesterday the feeling was fantastic in the car. We tried our best, it was unfortunately slippy there that we didn't know about. Other than that, we tried our best today.
flash info (21 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I was still pushing, I didn't know. Good feeling - finally. When you have the fight from the beginning and something happens then it's calm. But when you have to push every day, it's a different emotion.
flash info (22 - Cachón Alejandro / Rozada Borja): Just in a stupid corner I put the tyre inside and it snapped. I was lucky not to hit the trees. I was trying, I was pushing. Sorry to the team, sponsors. I tried my maximum. We have to be happy.
(22 - Cachón Alejandro / Rozada Borja): spun
flash info (27 - Yamamoto Yuki / Fulton James): I don't know what to say. Very, very happy to finish this rally on the podium. It's something special. Really want to say thank you to the team. This season has been difficult, but they're supporting all the time and working.
flash info (23 - Lindholm Emil / Morales Gabriel): It was not the weekend we travelled here for. After everything we have to be happy we are here and with some points in the bag. We know where to improve for the next time. Big thanks to the team Toksport. It has been a chellenging weekend for all of us.
flash info (25 - Jürgenson Romet / Oja Siim): I think we have to be satisfied. We showed some pace when things clicked. The consistency here was better.
Starting order: Jürgenson, Lindholm, Yamamoto, Cachón, Gryazin, Solberg, McErlean, Armstrong, Paddon, Neuville, Fourmaux, Katsuta, Pajari, Ogier, Evans
