INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8
flash info (24 - Domínguez Diego / Peñate Rogelio): I got inspired by Tokyo Drift, and it was pretty sideways on this last section. Basically like gravel. It was very, very fun.
flash info (27 - Yamamoto Yuki / Fulton James): I had a big slide and luckily there was just nothing outside. After that, I took care, but really hard for the tyres. Not the best feeling.
flash info (25 - Jürgenson Romet / Oja Siim): That's a surprise actually, it didn't feel too good. That's positive, so we can go faster in the second run. I don't know, the last part especially felt good, but the middle part, definitely, by base notes, it's still a bit of a struggle, but yeah, we are smooth, I think, and the car obviously works well.
flash info (21 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I just put it [the damaged wheel] on the back just to have no issue with the power steering on the front. So somehow it works. Difficult stage, to be honest. In the end, it feels like the tyres start to move a lot, so you have to drive slowly and to keep the line because it was sometimes difficult, but okay.

flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was a clean stage for us, not really able to just manage the tyre window quite well, it felt like, but yeah, it's so difficult to know how you're really doing. A bit better balance in here.
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I didn't push in that stage. I just had a really smooth run through the whole stage, not trying to overheat the tyres, but yeah, doing this for the first time in this car is very different.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): The car is better, at least I'm struggling less with understeer, but yeah, it looks like we still need to be able to be faster.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): Not so great feeling somehow. I need to try to do some changes to make it better.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's a nightmare. We have never been that bad in this downhill. Usually, we have always been fast here, but I can't do nothing. I'm full locked all the way through. So, honestly, we're changing setups and nothing is making it any better. Compared to yesterday, we are far off from the balance we had yesterday, and it's just getting worse, and I don't know why.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Of course I tried to be as gentle as possible on the tyres as it was a very twisty stage. I think the afternoon will be more tricky in the higher temperatures.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I had a good stage, but at the same time I was also a bit struggling at the beginning with the balance and surprisingly in the downhill it was improving. It's a demanding stage. I could have improved, but also it's very easy to make mistakes. There were some corners which were more slippery than last year. Some others, there were more grip.
flash info (20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We've definitely made some improvements to the car, but these stages are so hard for the first time. It doesn't matter how many times I've watched the videos and the prep for this event, there's nothing like driving them and everything looks the same because there's obviously so many corners, so it's really hard to make up for that deficit. Trying the best we can, trying to drive as close as best I can, but it's everywhere, there's places we could have gone faster.
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): We made a bit of improvement for this stage, just to try and keep the weight on the back a little bit more. So it seemed to be working a lot better, especially towards the end on the downhill with all the twisty corners. So yeah, I think it was okay and we're going in the right direction.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): That's all good now, but it's demanding instead for everything, and whenever you can't really get the front to turn, it's not so nice.
