(45 - Martínez Julio / Viera Pedro José): retired before SS 2
(27 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): It was ok. The time loss is surprise but Yohan knows how to drive fast. I am trying to improve.
(22 - Daprà Roberto / Guglielmetti Luca): We need to see today what it will be. It will be quite hard. There is a long way to go.
(21 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): We defeinitely struggled quite a lot in these kind of conditions. The roads are really ncie but it is difficult to judge the pace notes. It is not the easiest place to be for us. We will try to improve.
(29 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): I fight to be honest. We need to adapt the car it is not perfect. It is not a bad start but the feeling is not great. I want more speed.
(20 - Rossel Léo / Mercoiret Guillaume): Honestly it is good and really tricky with the grip I didn't have a lot of grip but I'm happy with the feeling in the car. It will be a fun fight with my brother. It will be a really hard fight all the week.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It was really nice stage and I enjoy it a lot. I think we can improve the car and I can improve a little bit. Some corners were a little bit dirty but it was ok. The team is working really hard and maybe we are not fighting at the minute, but I'm happy the team is working hard.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): It was ok. I was trying to use all the road. It has been an ok start. We just keep on enjoying.
(95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): To be fair I think we had a good stage and ryhthm was good and I tried to be really patient and not work the tyres too much.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Honestly I didn't sleep very well. I was so nervous about how I will drive the car in the stage and it was confirmed this morning. I'm trying to adapt the driving but nothing works. It feels like I don't know how to drive the car.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It is ok. I expected a very close stage. I had a good feeling with the car. At the moment it looks close with my other team-mates, it will be intense.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It is a very beautiful stage. I'm pleased to see all the fans so it is nice. I really like my shoes playing with the pedals.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): It was not the greatest feeling. It was not so clean as I expected and was hoping for. I need to improve. It is not bad but we need to improve. I like this rally but the differences are so small, you need to be at 100%.
(99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I just tried to have a flow really, nothing special. They [the hard tyres] are not that easy to drive you just have to stay smooth.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It wasn't the best start for us. I didn't feel I was in the best rhythm.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): It is nice to be first on the road for sure. Nothing special. A bit dusty in a few places. Everything feels good with the car.
