(36 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): Super happy to be here with this new project, my first time with this car on gravel. In here it was a bit difficult because the wheels were spinning a bit too much. Happy to be leading and can't wait for tomorrow.
(29 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Listerud Jørn): It was terrible. I had so much spin from the differnetial and I could not get the car rotating. I still lost a lot of time. It has been a clean day.
(28 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): No issues. I was just being a bit clever with the tyres. Tomorrow will be the main thing. Tomorrow will be a different story.
(27 - Suninen Teemu / Hussi Janni): There are some things [not right with the car] and maybe the tyres were not the best choice but we are playing the long game. It will be fixable.
(26 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): Not great. I had a turbo problem in stage two and it cost me a lot of time and it carried on in here. A pretty rubbish start to the rally.
(30 - Camilli Eric / De La Haye Thibault): I have a rear diff problem. There is no service.
(31 - Cachón Alejandro / Rozada Borja): Good start to the rally for sure, it wasn't easy. I'm not used to the gravel, but the feeling in the car is so good, so let's try to push a bit more tomorrow.
(25 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): Let's see tomorrow, today we were never on one tyre compound. This stage was quite fun, but I'd like to do it in the tarmac spec.
(20 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): The car feels quite nice and the driving also but still we missed some pace in places.
(24 - Daprà Roberto / Guglielmetti Luca): We have something broken on the car. I don't know what it is. It is what it is. We have to try and fix it. Maybe it is something on the differential or driveshaft.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): I think the pace was good to be honest. I don't expect to be near the front when you open the road. We are close, this is just the beginning.
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): It was quite slippy on the hard tyre here. The first stage I was rusty and that happens when you are a few months out of the car. There were some good signs in stage two and I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): I prefer full sunshine for tomorrow. But hey, it is as it is. It's been an okay day, we lost a bit of rhythm, which hampered us a bit, but the first one was good. Let's try to take that into tomorrow.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It was nice honestly I enjoy the day a lot. It is stupid to push as we have a long day tomorrow. I have a good feeling with the car today. I think we can push more tomorrow and be in the fight.
(95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): I get to be a rally driver so that is always cool. It's a big challenge to do this event. It's a classic, especially tomorrow we're doing a lot of famous stages from the 90s. Obviously it's our first time in a proper rally gravel in this car, we'll keep enjoying, but also try to keep improving and get closer to the front guys.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It is nice to be in some fight especially in the front. That's what we are here for. Unfortunately in a hairpin I had a half a spin and we lost a little bit of time. But genrally a good start to the rally. Some work to do for sure but we will try.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It wasn't the ideal start for us. We really struggled in the first stage and we managed to change the car a bit in the second. We were fighting a bit this afternoon. We have to try to do better tomorrow.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): To be fair we took the risks to take this damaged tyre in the stage to save one tyre. We are quite limited on softs for this rally. I'm quite happy with my day. It is a good start, let's see tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, there will be a new stage with new pacenotes, so let's go!
(99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I just tried to be clean and take it easy. We have no service so you don't want to touch anything. It has been an ok start. It's a long way to go and every day is going to be different. Tomorrow will be hard for the tyres and Saturday and Sunday different for the weather.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): It is only the first scratch into the race. It is not the best but tomorrow will be a really long day and we kneed to keep pushing. Hoepfully we can make the car better with the set up. It's slippy sometimes and the grip can change a lot, but you need to accept it, just need to push.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): For sure tomorrow will be a bigger day. I didn't have such a good feeling so I need to find a better feeling for tomorrow. There is still a long way to go.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Moderately pleased. The second one seemed to be cleaning a bit and we expected that. It has been an ok start but still a long time to go in this rally.
