I really tried to beat Latvala. I was giving a big push but I lost. Maybe I was not brave enough.

More or less clean from me. The balance of the car was not ideal because of the tyres (he has two spares). It was okay, no big mistakes. The road is in much better condition that we expected.

It was a clean stage - so finally I had one! The time is not so bad because I didn't do this stage last year.

I stalled the car in a tight corner and could not restart. I had to undo my belts. It took time to get it running, and then do my belts up again. My mistake. It's learning.

The morning was surprisingly good, better than I expected because I was not so familiar with the car on dry gravel. The afternoon has been about cruising and surviving. Tomorrow I will try to learn as much as possible. I want to be faster too.

The road was good near the start but it got more slippery and softer towards the end. I think my time is surprisingly good. I was expecting to lose more.

This is the perfect place to make my World Rally Car debut. Two years ago I had my R5 debut here. I am not nervous - just normally excited. I have been preparing for this for six months, so I am ready. We need to build our speed through the event and through the season.
