Very tricky. Every junction is full of mud. Not so enjoyable.

More tricky that the one before, a lot of mud here, tricky on the new tyres. I had to slow to pass Lappi. The car was stuck in a ditch, off under braking. He was out of the car.

The road was a lot cleaner than I expected. The rain has washed it. I was expecting more mud, which might have benefited us. We don't often run these tyres, even on tests, so they look a bit of getting used to.

I felt a bit uncomfortable with the tyre choices. Humid in parts, wet under the trees. Difficult to find a rhythm.

A really stupid mistake last night. But ok all I can do now is go again. I'll try to get to the the end of every stage as quickly as possible today. Paul's wife is in hospital waiting for a baby.
