Lappi did a very good time on this stage. It was tough on that stage, I had to back off at points because it is very rough and I had some big hits. I didn't think Esapekka would push as much as he did.

It's definitely suited me better. It is hardwork, grip is better than ever before but you have to be careful with the rocks. When the sandy surface is damp it is binding it together and giving it grip.

I was not confident in the morning, I started a little bit too slow and I know I needed to improve. This stage is quite rough, there are a few rocks, on the second loop this test is going to be very rough - very hard on the cars.
