For me, it just made the car impossible to drive because I've not got any tread anywhere else. It's disappointing.

Honestly, I don't know. I think we were just unlucky with one sharp rock. We were doing a good job of keeping it in the line, so it's frustrating.

That was genuinely one of the roughest stages I've ever come across. I just tried to keep a rhythm, but after two more tyres I think the tyres are going to be shot. Let's just get through it.

It felt okay. At the beginning I missed the line a few times and definitely gave away a few seconds, but other than that it was okay.

It's my favourite rally - it's where I feel comfortable. I hate super specials, so I always try to memorise these stages! To start well on a stage like this is really good.
