It has been a rough day, a really tough afternoon. We had really bad tyres so it's not easy to open the road after Elfyn went off. It's a big shame for him and I hope they are okay.

It's really tough now. The stage is in much worse condition than I was expecting, much rougher than last year. Not so enjoyable and the tyres are taking a huge beating - let's hope we have some tyres left for the next one.

I just tried to have a clean run. It's a really rough stage and definitely at the beginning I was maybe not clean enough, but I still tried to save the tyres a little bit from punctures.

I am not surprised to be honest... it's really slippery for the line and it's really narrow for the small cars. It seems like after Elfyn there is not much of a clean line so I tried to be clean, but it felt like I was opening the road.

Now it was better. It was a bit expected that maybe we would need to dial in the set-up of the car a bit, and we changed something now which seems to be better. At least this was a clean run but the afternoon will be tricky when we go onto the hard tyres. It will be rough.

This one was much, much worse to be honest. Straight sway when we go to these wide roads and much faster stages we have so much understeer and we are killing the front tyres.

It felt like a good stage. For sure there was some dust hanging in the forest and it wasn't east to push there but we had a clean stage.
