It was really tricky, somehow way more slippery than I thought, but I'm really happy. It was a really tricky rally, and I'm really pleased for the second place for us and for the team. The car is really fast and relaible - that's the main thing.

We made some tyre strategy so didn't put all the best tyres on the first one of the day. If we are faster, then it's fine.

I was expecting something like this from this stage. We were just sliding. Maybe I should have been more gentle on the previous stages, I don't know. Tomorrow is still quite a long day with a couple of proper stages, so anything can happen.

I was hoping to have some push on this stage, but quite soon after the start, I realised it was basically gravel all the way through, so I knew I would not go for long if I tried to push. I tried to be clever, but it's really tricky.

In the last three kilometres, I saw I think Oliver's rear bumper and then some lines so I noticed there had been something going on. I had a clean run - not perfect, but the battle is on!

I think not all that was on this stage - constantly throughout the loop we were losing some parts! But that was a really tricky one.

That was quite scary! It was maybe one of the trickiest stages I have ever done. For me, it was quite pointless to use the extra lights because it was snowing so hard and the lights were just reflecting the snow, so it wasn't so easy to see. Luckily, we had good pace notes...

I had some really nasty hits from the snow, and I felt so sure something was broken on the car. I drove a little bit too cautiously after that. For sure Oliver will be tough to beat, but we are just warming up...

Honestly I am not really happy with my driving on that stage. It is done, the proper action starts tomorrow. It was really slippy on the entry into some corners. I am not so happy but it is fine.
