I don't like being second but in the scheme of things it's not bad. We're just trying to be really neat and tidy now. We want Power Stage points so it's going to have to be a bit of a push.

We can't do anything about Solberg so we're just maintaining pace at the minute. We're trying to save the tyres for the Power Stage, so we can't slide around too much.

I want to win the championship but I also want to win the rally! Oliver Solberg was driving really well this morning, we had no answers for him. But never say never.

We don't have an answer for Solberg at the moment, the car is not working with the low grip and there is no confidence in the car at all. Hopefully the grip might come to us and help us a little bit.

Struggling at the moment, just have no grip. Got no feeling in the car and can't push how I want to, but the day is early and we've got a long way to go. I have to adapt and so does the car.

It's quite loose, obviously there is a clean line there but you have to be precise and stay in that line, so we had to pull the commitment down on that stage.

As Heikkilä would say, every stage is like a qualifying stage. It is crazy to think we're fighting for tenths of seconds on every stage. We tried to push on this one but every time we tried we lost the rear of the car. Tomorrow is more suited to us so let's see what we can do tomorrow.

It wasn't as rough as I expected to be honest. We're pushing, we're trying, hopefully the next stage won't be so rough. We'd like to keep the pressure on, with 2 sec or 3 sec going into tomorrow, as tomorrow suits us better than today.

There is more grip but you have to use the line, we were off the line a lot after the first part so we need to tidy that up.

There's no tyre wear here, our tyres will probably do the whole rally. Expecting the challenge to be different on the second pass, but amazing stages which you can't help but smile on.

It won't be the longest or highest jump because I like to keep my wheels on the ground. It's definitely roughing up in there for the second pass. Quick shoutout to the people back home for Hyundai, hopefully they go and kick butt tomorrow.

This rally is a sprint rally, we didn't have a good stage but it is a long rally in terms of stages. In the ERC the super-specials are quite important because they are all sprint rallies.

It was probably too tired, it's loose. You have to dial it back a bit, but I was very committed. This stage will probably be very enjoyable on the second pass.
