18.07.2026 23:07 16 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): I think we showed some good potential, some good speed, and, yeah, we're enjoying driving the Rally1 cars at this level with some of the best drivers in the world, and you get to the end of the stage and you're not so far away from them, or you're fastest, so you can't complain with that. And, yeah, we had a good bit of battling with Taka today, and I was asking him before the stage if he was gonna let me win this one, and he did, so thanks, Taka.
18.07.2026 23:07 15 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It was a lot more enjiybale witha bit more grip. It is still a little bit messy from my side. Overall a good improvement and a pretty good stage. We are not so far from Taka so we have to be happy with that.
18.07.2026 23:07 14 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It was a bit scrappy. I'm trying but I'm lacking bit of grip at the rear to keep the car pointing straight. I'm pushing and trying but the rear is hanging out. The time is not too bad.
18.07.2026 23:07 13 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It was a pretty cool stage and obviouly one of the classics. We are struggling to have outright confidence on the grip. Some places were ok in others we would outbrake ourselves. It was a fun stage. We will see if we can improve on the repeat loop.
18.07.2026 23:07 12 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It was ok. It was very loose and slippery surface so it will cleam a lot. I didn't have a great rhythm. It is alwasy difficult when you are this close to opening the road. The nose has stopped now so I hope it is ok.
18.07.2026 23:07 11 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): I got a nosebleed, I think it just happened on the finish line when I wiped the sweat off. Pretty good run, dropped a second to Taka but we're happy that we improved overall.
18.07.2026 23:07 10 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It was better from our side, we are trying to pick our lines, which aren't always the clean ones, so we have to create them for the other guys. Some mistakes, but at least we are pushing.
18.07.2026 22:07 9 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It's a bit different in character, very loose at the start and very technical in the narrow forest near the end. Quite difficult with the Rally1 car, because you don't want to lose so much momentum, but you also don't want to get out of shape too much. Probably driving not at the best right now, but trying to improve.
18.07.2026 22:07 8 flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): Think it will be quite a bit of cleaning. It's the first time we did the stage since 2022. Just trying to get a rhythm, it's a lot more hard because the stage is more narrow than the ones yesterday.
