INFORMATION ABOUT SS 4
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Dotta Mitia): We have made wrong tyre choice, but this is Monte Carlo, we must to finish.
(32 - Kremer Armin / Wicha Klaus): This stage was quite good, but on previous stages we had some problems.
(36 - Barrable Robert / Loudon Stuart): Some oil is coming out of the car, I dont know where is the problem.
(31 - Protasov Yuriy / Cherepin Pavlo): Now it is very muddy, but almost without snow. I have studded tyres.
(22 - Melichárek Jaroslav / Melichárek Erik): Now there is not so much snow and ice.
(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): It is treacherous in there, I have not much experience with this tyre, I have no confidence with it. I took it quite cautious.
(11 - Bouffier Bryan / Panseri Xavier): It is not easy to get confident. I am really playing with the car. For sure the road is dirty but it is not so bad. This loop, we all have the same conditions. (4 winter tyres)
(10 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): I think it is good run through. It is very difficult conditions, in these conditions you really have to take care.
(6 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): Very little snow in there. It was very muddy in there and the snow tyre was the correct one, but the studs maybe not. It was tricky and we did not take risks. (cross over with 2 studded tyres)
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Markkula Mikko): We have snow tyres now and it makes a difference. Now it was completely nice. I have to adjust my pace notes, we have snow in the notes and there is no snow. (4 winter tyres without studs)
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): Not one single moment. It is the first time I drive like this on the snow tyre with the stage like this. I just progress through trying to go faster and faster. Not a good stage but I learn a lot.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): It was good, better now with these tyres, snow tyres in the wet. It was ok.
(5 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo): It is better tyre choice than this morning, I was a little bit more brave. Maybe I was a little too cautious, keeping it nice and neat. (4 winter tyres)
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): The feeling is better, we change the setup of the car. It was really nice to drive with these tyres on the stage, the tyres were working well. I feel a bit more confident now.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Looks like it is not the best tyre choice, but we have to wait for the loop. The next stage it should be better. (winter tyres crossed over with super softs)
First 9 kms patchy ice and slush, 3,5 km snow which is quickly going out and rest is wet with mud on cuts.
