(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): The full ice section was slippery. I'm expecting intermittent ice throughout the loop. The ice note crews are our saviours - we couldn't do it without them. We did the recce three or four days ago and everything changed since then.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): Not fast enough. That's all. We need to make everything work smoothly.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): The car is moving quite a lot on these tyres. It was a clean stage, just trying to get into the rhythm.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Good. I'm happy with my time. Seb is very fast here. I'm not out to beat him. My target here is top five.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): There is one kilometer of ice. With the slick tyres we had to be really cautious. I'm not at the maximum yet. I want to take time to find my rhythm.
Sunshine with clear sky, temperature around -2°C. The road is dry with few ice patches in the middle section.
