INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1
retired (76 - Poulsen Kristian / Frederiksen Ole): retired after SS 1
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): I think it will be extremely tight - the stages are very fast. We will see tomorrow. We try to win every rally and this weekend will be no different.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It's much more dirty than I expected. The plan is to win this weekend.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): I have to say, the feeling was not so bad. There was a lot of dust in some areas so I was a little bit alarmed as I thought someone had gone off in front of me! I am satisfied with my time but I am sure the guys behind will push very hard as well.
flash info (89 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): The feeling was fine - I touched something on the inside of a corner and was worried that I had a puncture so I was a bit careful. The time is okay - it will be a long rally.
flash info (3 - Suninen Teemu / Lehtinen Jarmo): It was okay, nothing really special. At the beginning we were sliding a bit. It's going to be a challenging rally. I believe when I have a good feeling that we can do some good times so we will see how it goes.
flash info (5 - Meeke Kris / Marshall Sebastian): Our primary focus will be to conserve the championship and to keep an eye on the Hyundais. It's a bit like a grand prix practice this morning so there will only be a few tenths between us in here. The rally starts tomorrow.
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): There was some corners which were dirtier than they were on shakedown which was a big surprise.
flash info (10 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): We tried our best. One step at a time and the feeling was okay. I wasn't the best on this stage this afternoon so it was okay.
flash info (6 - Sordo Dani / Del Barrio Carlos): We are here to win. I am happy with the car. Tomorrow is going to be a difficult rally. The stage was good and the car is good.
flash info (44 - Greensmith Gus / Edmondson Elliott): It was good. The more I get in the car, the more I am getting used to it. The car feels great - it really is something special. There is still more I need to get out of the car and I am working on it as we go.
flash info (17 - Katsuta Takamoto / Barritt Daniel): Amazing feeling - it is so exciting. This weekend will be very tough but I will try to focus on my job. It will be good.
flash info (21 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It will be much tougher than in previous events. The time is good.
flash info (22 - Østberg Mads / Eriksen Torstein): It was not the best of runs in shakedown so I tried to be a bit more tidy now. It is quite slippery in a few places so we had a few moments. I need to understand the car more and more - there is a specific technique for driving this car and it is not my usual way of driving. I am getting used to it and I will try to adapt.
flash info (23 - Kopecký Jan / Dresler Pavel): In Barum we tried some different setups to test for this rally and they worked well. This stage is not so bumpy.
flash info (24 - Camilli Eric / Veillas Benjamin): I pushed very hard. I really enjoyed to push like that to be honest. But let's see - there's still work but we are on the way.
