INFORMATION ABOUT SS 2 | |
(53 - Nucita Andrea / Princiotto Giuseppe): retired after SS 2
(44 - Riccio Davide / Cicognini Monica): retired after SS 2
(20 - Miele Mauro / Beltrame Luca): retired after SS 2
(23 - Veiby Ole Christian / Andersson Jonas): It's been a proper start to Rallye Monte-Carlo. The first stage was really tricky, struggling a bit with the gravel notes but we got through. This one was a bit easier. The car was stopping a bit, cutting the engine, but we got here and it is all good.
(21 - Greensmith Gus / Edmondson Elliott): We're here at the end, the first stage was... I know why Malcolm said 'just come and do the rally!' I wasn't committed in the first stage, not even close. I just need to step up the pace tomorrow to how it was in shakedown.
(30 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): We had an off and we broke two wheels and something from the front and we had to drive without the lights. We could re-attach the lights for this one. Some mistakes on the ice place, nothing I could do but it was my mistake.
(7 - Tidemand Pontus / Fløene Ola): The car is unbelievable to drive, I just need to brace myself not to make any mistakes. Our strategy is to get experience on this rally and get a feeling for everything.
(5 - Meeke Kris / Marshall Sebastian): No idea, I just got a warning on my dash. I had to drive 7 or maybe 9km with a puncture. The car felt good before then, I'm happy to be honest, I am feeling confident in a car I love, bring on tomorrow.
(5 - Meeke Kris / Marshall Sebastian): puncture
(19 - Loeb Sébastien / Elena Daniel): The stud tyres was not a good choice, I did what I can but it is not good with these tyres.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was okay, it was very, very difficult to judge how well or badly you are doing to be honest. The car has been working well, no big issues.
(89 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): Completely dry, I had the four winter tyres and for sure I was slipping all over. I don't have too good experience of this car when it is crossed tyres.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I had a bit wrong strategy on the first one to be honest, but I saved too much the studs and it was the wrong choice. Now I try to come with a better rhythm.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It was a clean run, no worries.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): Yeah, but that is not enough. We were expecting more. It is okay, we tried. It was maybe a little bit risky, but with the information I had I thought it was going to be the right choice. |
