INFORMATION ABOUT SS 15
(39 - Villanueva Alexander / Murado José): retired in SS 15
(35 - Virves Robert / Drew Craig): retired after SS 15
Stage was cancelled. | |
Stage was cancelled because of accident of car no. 35.
(35 - Virves Robert / Drew Craig): accident in SS 15
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Of course, it's a big relief. After a difficult rally in Finland, we needed to come back now, even though we never left. A strong performance, starting first and finishing first is quite nice. A clever drive and still a good push here in the Power Stage.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It looks like it wasn't so bad in the end. Dani had me a bit worried after the first pass through this morning, so I'm relieved to be honest. After giving away some time last night, we needed this posiiton at least.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): I tried everything. Elfyn had a little bit of bad luck in the rally also. I am not really happy with my performances this wekend but, to get third place, today I drove well and enjoyed.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): I guess the fast ones are coming from behind. It didn't feel like a good run but I tried to do everything I could. Friday was very devastating for everyone and M-Sport was really down. We came back and the decision we made to take the big penalty still paid off.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I did a couple of small mistakes so it wasn't optimum, but a really aggressive run. Today was okay, but not our weekend. We need to get better and next time we will be better.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I was trying but then making too many mistakes and losing time. The car was working very well but I was not using this car on the limit. Not good, but let's see for the next one in Chile, I will try to do my best. We had some punctures and things but otherwise it was quite okay.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I am feeling like I just want to go home, there is not much to say. Sometimes it's like this in rally, we mentioned before the start that you need the luck on your side in this kind of rally. But we didn't have it, and now we move onto the next one - probably Germany (Central European Rally).
(9 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): We are first Greek, so the objective was there. We had a lot of fun - a fantastic week. Thanks to all the Greek fans!
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's cleaning a bit in there, so I don't think it's good enugh. What to say? I enjoyed the driving, the car was feeling really nice and that's the positive thing. Other than that, luck wasn't with us this weekend. We were managing the lead and we had a good tyre strategy as well. Everything was perfect until this hole yesterday which obviously cost us another victory.
(20 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): This, this is a special one. After Friday, everything looked so dark and we decided we had nothing to lose, so let's just go for it. It's not very often in WRC2 that you do that, because you often need all the points you can get. I want to say thanks to the team - we changed the rear diff in the last service and it was so on the limit for the time. Those guys are incredible.
(24 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): For sure, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. It's a shame we couldn't challenge Andreas to the end but it's been a very challenging weekend and we wanted to get some good points. Unfortunately, the person we had to outscore, we haven't.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): We will see. Before this rally, if you told me I was on the podium here I would have taken it. But when you are leading the rally and playing for the win, it's different. The car improved a lot after Portugal and Sardinia.
(27 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It was a quite nice stage for us, I was enjoyiung but there was still a lot of sweeping. We have to say congratulations to the organisers who have made the rally, even with the tricky conditions. For us the rally started really well but unfortunately we had some small issues. I think we can be happy about our rally, anyway.
(32 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's an incredible opportunity. When you look at the guys in front, it's Fourmaux, Mikkelsen, Greensmith. They all have this Rally1 experience and I think it's a must-have experience to then come back to Rally2 and benefit from it.
Starting order: Munster, Fourmaux, Rossel, Greensmith, Mikkelsen, Neuville, Serderidis, Ogier, Katsuta, Lappi, Tänak, Sordo, Evans, Rovanperä
Stage is shortened for 10,77 km. |
