INFORMATION ABOUT SS 19
flash info (25 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): I've done a lot of work with Škoda Motorsport so I know what tempterature Arai's differential can go to, I think he'll be fine. Fine stage, nice and easy through, no stress. Japan is one of my favourite places to come to, always very happy to be here, I have enjoyed the stages this time more than the other times we did this.
flash info (31 - Arai Hiroki / Matsuo Shunsuke): Something wrong with the rear diff, I have to get to the finish line. I should have to take care, I turned off the anti-lag, I tried to get through the stage not aggressively. I need to get to the finish.
flash info (20 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): Quite okay, really, really clean. Some really slippery sections in the middle of the stage, otherwise some better sections which were still nice to drive anyway. It is not too bad.
flash info (21 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I just was more gentle on the braking, if I start to drive slow it will be in the corner more early. Everything is more gentle. I was taking more caution on the road. I was sometimes awaiting some parts of the car which was on the road. It is nervous because we have the car but I don't want to have a puncture so I am slalom on the stones.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Very difficult, especially in the forest. Struggle a lot.
flash info (17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I think you know what is going on, you just need to watch TV! We push more now, with the leaves on the road it was difficult to be committed and not do stupid things.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It was quite similar condition to the first pass, we took two hards, we did not have the road crew notes in here. It was quite interesting. I will have to think about where I finish.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I just follow the strategy and let's see in the next pass what I can do.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): I am still struggling. Lot of understeer entry, oversteer exit so not ideal. That is how it is. I want to congratulate, Thierry and Martijn. It's been a long time Belgium were waiting for this and being half-Belgian, I am quite proud of them. Along with Ogier, they have been an inspiration to me. Really cool to see him finally achieve it. I remember 2010 when I was watching him in Ypres with a Peugeot 207 with the Belgian team and I was hoping to be in the same position, so I am really happy for them.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): The last couple of races have been challenging, with everything to lose and nothing to gain. We had to manage it, but now I am enjoying it. I got a better balance now, I was able to push a bit more. In the very dirty section, we took it calmer because we want to get to the end.
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): It is quite tricky in the forest. I tried to drive fast but maybe I was too careful. I didn't have that same attacking feeling that I had the first time through. I tried to keep it clean, have some speed, make no mistakes. Hopefully, it was good enough.
