It's like a Sunday drive, cruising around. I try to keep some rhythm on the driving, it is much easier that way and also quite enjoyable. This stage is in quite good condition so quite fun to drive. At the moment I was hesitating, you have the impact and don't know what the car is going to do if you have a slow puncture or something. I am struggling more than yesterday. Yesterday was way more twisty so you just have to make the car slow downhill, you have more load with the tyre and the chassis. Struggling a bit but have to improve this afternoon. It stays [as it is], Forum8 Rally Japan with its surprises. Now there is not so much to play for, we just need to improve. | |

Honestly, it came like surprise. I don't know what to say at the moment but I think we deserve it. Very challenging year, very tough. Obviously much more pressure than we needed, especially for this last event. We knew there was risk and we managed it. We are happy now, we are a bit more relaxed now, so we can push harder for the manufacturers because we want to go home with all the trophies. There is not much to lose, we will go flat out, go for the manufacturers, everyone wants that title too. I will do what I can to make the car faster. | |
