(19 - Ingram Christopher / Kihurani Alexander):
It is great to be back and big thanks to MRF for helping us make the return. It has been a long nine months without rallying but it is great to be here. This is just a bit of a warm up really for Wales and Croatia. It is a tough rally so we are just going to stay patient and focussed and build back up to our pace.
(18 - Březík Adam / Krajča Ondřej):
Everybody asks what I spoonable. We will see tomorrow. It will be a tough day and very difficult. We will try to push at the maximum level so we will see.
(17 - Cais Erik / Trunkát Daniel):
No strategy it is just not a good time. Ninth fastest is not a good start position for Barum especially. I have to take it. I was too slow and I don’t like this stage but I’m happy we made it through and now the most beautiful stages are coming.”I think there are 15 or 20 people as hungry as I am for the win so it will not be easy.
(16 - Kopecký Jan / Hovorka Jiří):
I think we are happy with my pace. I’m a bit older than the guys but this stage was bloody fast and I think you need to take some risk in qualifying and for me it is not necessary. Let’s see. Tonight we have a special stage with a lot of fans and tomorrow we have some new sections that I haven’t done.
(15 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan):
It is difficult to say which position will be optimal for tomorrow for the first day of the rally. We tried our best and I did one small mistake but it was a good stage for us. I was too wide and sideways in one corner.
(8 - Csomós Miklós / Kertész Krisztián):
The feeling is very good and I'm very happy to be starting the Barum rally this year. It is a long two days and we will focus on the finish.
(14 - Vlček Martin / Kunst Jakub):
Zatím u nás panuje spokojenost. Nastavení auta jsme udělali podle našeho Hyundaie, takže se nám jede dobře. Musím pochválit Škodováky. Mají to krásné.
(12 - Allen Philip / Drew Craig):
It is going to be really difficult to be honest. I’m just trying to get the car set up and be confident. We changed it to be a bit softer but I didn’t think it is right. It is fine and just trying to get the experience for next year maybe. This is the hardest rally of the year I think.
(10 - Wagner Simon / Ostlender Hanna):
We had some understeer towards the end but we will fix it. It is a very interesting weekend ahead of us. We are prepared well and we will fight.
(9 - Stříteský Dominik / Kučera Ladislav):
I think some guys will be a little bit faster than me but it is just qualifying and all the rally is in front of us and it will be a tough rally. I hope [I can repeat the success of last year] but it is more complicated than last year because there is a lot of fast guys and I think everybody wants to win.
(6 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sergiu):
No no everything is good. In Rome qualifying stage we had a problem and you ask me if it was strategy or not and this time we can say it is a bit different. During the second day we had not a good experience and we were starting in the front so we decided this time to be at the back doing the first day. I’m really proud and happy that I can have the opportunity to start in the European Rally Championship and I want to thank my partners and also MRF Tyres. This time we feel like this.
(7 - Matulka Jakub / Syty Damian):
It is hard to say what I’m hoping for I was trying to do as good a run as I could but I think somewhere fifth would be good as there is some pollution on the road and I hope the guys in the front will make a line for us. I hope fifth would be good. We will try to do a good rally but we need to remember that this is my first time here with a Rally2 car so this is a really tough rally. I’m really optimistic because in Rome we had pretty good pace.
(5 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan):
I don’t know. We did some changes on the car before this run and I lost the grip in the braking. It was a bit sketchy in some places. I don’t know why but we just need to change the roll bar in the front and now I can’t brakes, it is difficult to know. What will the rally be like in this car? “Mega”
(4 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane):
Not really it was much more messy than in free practice two. I can see where the two seconds went which is not a bad thing. We just need to be a bit more clean and try and have a clean rally but the feeling is good, so let’s see what the weekend can hold. It is a tricky one and you have to stay flat out and be a bit mental but keep a bit in reserve too.
(2 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia):
It is a little bit faster [than Matczyk] so it is going to be another race like Rome. It is going to be tough for sure. But already doing this state with this car and these tyres, is incredible. I always did it in a simulator with Richard Burns Rally and it was amazing. It is like a dream. Let’s see for the race, it is going to be tough.
(1 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon):
It was not a perfect run from myself, there was some ups and downs and we didn’t really have a stable base. I think seven guys will be within one second so we need to wait for the others. There will be two very tough days and I would say the most challenging tarmac event this year but we have a good feeling.
| (25 - Kurka Tomáš / Vajík Karel): was out of road | |
| (5 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): damaged chicane | |
