Basically the driveshaft just broke four kilometres into the stage and there was nothing really we could do. We were leading with 40 seconds, which hurts a bit, but the game is on tomorrow, the championship is still up for grabs. If we do a good job maybe we can bring it home. | |

I don’t know it is so difficult to say. Sometimes it feels really good and the time is really bad and vice versa. It is a crazy rally. You never know what will happen in the next corner. It is super difficult but a good experience. | |

We were coming down to a tight left hander down the hill and I was braking and there was gravel and we just slid on and there was a tree at the edge of the road and we hit it with the windscreen pillar. The water light is on so I'd say that’s that done. | |

I feel good but it means we don’t have the power going uphill as the last split was uphill. I felt that I wanted more and more. We have to figure it out. I think everyone is on the limit and it is all about really small tiny mistakes. Everybody is pushing so we are pushing too. | |

Not too bad. It was a little bit more polluted in there, as the stage has evolved. Overall a pretty steady run with good rhythm and we will see what we can do in the second pass with the gravel on the next one. | |

It did not feel like that (faster than Mabellini) in the car. I was trying and now it is important not to lose it in Bunc and be on the pace with the top guys. One spare should be enough for Bunč, the only question is what will the weather do. | |

In reality no there were no surprises. It was a clean run, we enjoyed it, the balance was good, the car was working. It was not so bad. We became parents, as you can see in the back we have one more baby to bring (two spare wheels) and it is 22 kilos more and it is called an extra spare. We need to ask Skoda that instead of the Fabia they should make the Octavia station wagon to have more space behind. | |
