In the places where it is just wet and dry it is nice but where it is slippery it is not easier, it is hard to read the grip at times. I'm not sure the tyre choice was the best decision but it is not bad for sure. | |

We've seen all the drama at the start, it is nice to have the information. It would be tricky to run first on the road. Hopefully this afternoon we can keep on pressing. We went a bit wide on one corner, at least for me it was just quite a big surprise. Really slippery place, grip was changing a lot. Bit too fast in one corner, slide up the bank a bit, nothing more. Maybe 5km to the finish. | |

It was crazy. I pushed one or two times, it was really on the limit. We made the tyre choice, we have to stick with it. We did it with the team, it was really stressful this morning. The gravel crew did a good job, it was just really icy. | |

I think we paid the price of not having enough experience with the tyre for the dry section, it felt like the tyre was quite stable then suddenly I lost the car on the brakes, saw the ditch and lost the rear. The car is fine to go back to service. | |
