We were having a good run but it was my mistake, basically it was just ice in the last stage. This stage, we went careful, very tricky stage. Now I am just really really careful, easy to catch someone out in there. The tarmac was so so dirty.

In a very slow left hand corner, I felt I was going really slow. We drove a lot on ice yesterday, but this grip level was completely different. We let Jari-Matti Latvala through later.

Very very tricky, now running with cross tyres. The conditions are all changing all the time. The last place there is so shiny, very easy to make a mistake.

Tricky conditions, so much shiny tarmac. We were a little bit behind Melichárek for a while, difficult to see with all the water splash. I hope for three minutes gap in next stages.

We have snow tyres now and it makes a difference. Now it was completely nice. I have to adjust my pace notes, we have snow in the notes and there is no snow. (4 winter tyres without studs)

Very very tough start to the year. We take it very careful, I done this rally before and went off after four stages so I have to drive accordingly. We learn it kilometre by kilometre. I have to drive really safely.

That was absolutely terrible, I have never done anything like that before. It is not easy to start the stage with ice and slicks. Suddenly the ice comes without anything in the pace notes. We take it very careful.
