The last stage was so difficult for the Porsche. Going up through the snow I was looking behind all the time! After that I pushed to the maximum.

We had two studded snow tyres in there - not ideal on clean tarmac. We'll need them for the next stage though. We have another two studded tyres in the car, so we have a full set for the ice on the next stage.

I am in great shape! Studs would have been better, there is still a lot of black ice and it’s hard to heat up the tyres.

I am happy but I have to be careful. The Porsche is not adequate for this kind of stage, the large tyres are hard on these roads. The clutch is starting to slip, I don’t know what the service will be able to do.

It is too hard. We can’t rest as even in the straight portions we have to handle the car. I wasn’t wide awake in SS3.

We had engine shut down all along the stage, I lost at least one minute. I even went down the Col in free wheel.
