It's fantastic. This rally is the most important of the season for me. So emotional to be able to do it here in Monte Carlo. A fourth victory on such a difficult rally. I'm very happy. I have to thank my team and especially my gravel crew - they've done a great job. The car was perfect, I'm so happy to take this win for Volkswagen.

Was all fine, quite easy. Was just tidy to go through. Now lets go for the last one. I think 3 points will be difficult for me on the next power stage today as I do not have the right tyre. If it finish with this position it will be a perfect start to the season.

At the end we have to do our job get to the end and get the victory. Very nice (stage), technical, I am surprised to be the fastest as we do not have the best tyre choice for this one. It is a good start of the day.

It's a shame for Kris. He deserves better than that. It would have been better to carry on - it was an exciting fight. Well done to him. Now it is a different race for me - just to get to the end.

It is a bit better some section but still very tricky. Even when the snow is melting it is tricky with the slick tyre. We have to finish the day. It is not a big gap with this condition. We are not in a position to take all the risk.

The conditions were very different to earlier. It has been drying a bit more. A little bit too cautious but not a bad stage.

Very difficult with the tyres we have. The downhill especially was very slippery. The grip was so low it affected my driving rhythm.

Exciting, Kris is driving very well, very fast. It is nice battle. Some small mistakes here and there and now I think I have a slow puncture on the left rear. I'm happy though. A good day.

There is one kilometer of ice. With the slick tyres we had to be really cautious. I'm not at the maximum yet. I want to take time to find my rhythm.

Happy to be here. Those were nice stages. The first one was fine, good grip. But this one a bit different. The last part is very slippery and icy. We just did the very beginning of the rally, I am pleased to be there.
