Something in the middle of the road touched the underneath of the car and ripped off the sump guard. This also damaged the gearbox.

I'm doing my own thing. It's hard to read the road here, there's a lot of black ice around. This is a tricky Monte Carlo but we're here - still fighting.

We slid wide and hit something on the outside. This was an incredibly difficult stage. After the slide we lost a bit of confidence.

There is some snow being pulled on to the road now. Very dirty too. I did the best job I could on the road I had.
