I'm doing my own thing. It's hard to read the road here, there's a lot of black ice around. This is a tricky Monte Carlo but we're here - still fighting.

We slid wide and hit something on the outside. This was an incredibly difficult stage. After the slide we lost a bit of confidence.

There is some snow being pulled on to the road now. Very dirty too. I did the best job I could on the road I had.

There must me something in this stage that Seb knows! I think he lives about 3km from here, so I'm happy to give him this one. I have no answer to his time. Still a long way to go on this rally.

Happy. Trickier like normal on the second pass. Very cautious on the real bad ice where Robert Kubica went off this morning. I am here to enjoy it and we’ll see how we go.

Quite a tricky stage, a lot more patchy than before. Different surface under the trees and difficult to read the grip. Just a good feeling so we keep going.

The full ice section was slippery. I'm expecting intermittent ice throughout the loop. The ice note crews are our saviours - we couldn't do it without them. We did the recce three or four days ago and everything changed since then.

The car is really good, really good feeling, but I had a spin near the start of the stage, on a hairpin. I dug in on the inside and I maybe lost 7 or 8 seconds. 7 or 8 seconds is not going to lose this rally so I am happy.
