I had to try something different, but in the forest sections it was hard to be confident with the lack of grip. I couldn't have done much more. It looks like the battle with Thierry (Neuville).

It's really difficult now. I'm feeling the punishment of being second on the road in these conditions. So much mud and no grip. Not a perfect stage from me either.

I had a crossed tyre set-up - and that meant oversteer one corner then understeer the next. Not the perfect choice...

We went straight on at a junction and had to reverse. We pushed hard after that to recover the time loss. That's a shame but we are still in the fight.

I think soft was the correct choice but still it's hard to make a difference. He (Ogier) is cutting so much the road is covered in dirt.
