It was disappointing to see the other guys hit problems today. It was a good battle with Eric Camilli but I've been in this sport a long time and sometimes this is rallying. Since I saw Eric in trouble I've been taking it easier - a little more careful.

Really heavy rain, so a lot of aquaplaning, lots of mud and poor visibility. It got a bit better, but I needed to be careful on the blacktop - it's like ice.

It started to rain shortly before the start, so the full stage was damp for us. When I saw that Eric Camilli had stopped, I slowed down.
