The guys at the front are making a difference but it's difficult to do without taking any big risks. My plan for the morning was to hold tight for Baumholder because in 41 kilometres anything can change.

I had a clean stage. For sure, the road is getting a little bit dirtier in places but I'm just trying to be clean and tidy and seeing where that takes us.
