There's a lot of ifs and buts in rallying. The feeling in the car was generally quite good but you can never predict these things and you can never say what if. Not our weekend this time, but there we go.

No grip at all on this last section, and also the notes were a bit brave in places. We wrote them in thick fog, so a few surprises in there.

It started off pretty bad - not the ideal tyre choice for there. Really quite mixed grip, like expected, but it still doesn't make it any easier.

It was quite tricky in places, but it was okay. I got caught out a few times by this very polished clay and lost the rear, but it's all okay.

Pretty tricky now on the hard tyre. It's polished quite a lot now so it's not quite so abrasive and actually really difficult to gain confidence.

I didn’t have the best stage to be honest. Very changeable grip, so I probably didn't take the risk needed for a good stage in there.

We're obviously trying, but the grip is so, so low. Coming down the hill for the last half, I was really surprised by that.
