It's a tricky one, with the puncture we had the stage before and to drive a tyre package which is not ideal. We put the snow tyre on the car which is moving a lot, it damaged the rear right. Damage limitation for sure but the rear right was sliding everywhere.

I was on a straight uphill and suddenly we lost pressure. We didn't hit nything. There is snow everywhere on the edge, so you can't even hit a cut. I didn't take studs so at least I don't have to put the studs on.

It's okay, like I said before, we had a very good morning and I don't want to make a mistake. It is really difficult with the road position, I could have done more but I don't want to risk too much. This is also a stage they know really well next.

It was crazy. I pushed one or two times, it was really on the limit. We made the tyre choice, we have to stick with it. We did it with the team, it was really stressful this morning. The gravel crew did a good job, it was just really icy.

Even though I am not sure it was the right tyre choice, in some sections it was okay. I really tried to push on this one. I had some info from the gravel crew that it could be done without studs, but everyone was taking studs. I think you need at least two, four would be better because at some times it was a bit close.
