It's a good start. We are improving a second a kilometre, maybe we can find more overnight. It's been some experience learning this car on this road. Seeing the fans here, it does make you feel like a superstar. There is so much to take in with the car, the team, Eoin is a new co-driver too. Everyone has done a top, top job.

Tyre choice wasn't so bad, struggled a lot on this stage the last time. It is better, but it is still not right. The road is that narrow if you make one mistake you're down into the rockpits. One big day today, another big day tomorrow.

It keeps on getting crazier, the way this thing picks up on acceleration is unbelievable on a dry road, everything is 2x speed. We have definitely jumped in at the deep end but now it is time to learn how to swim.

High speed end, crazy at the finish how much speed you can get in these cars, it's bananas. It is more dirty than expected, with the slime on the road. When you're hitting these big speeds, you don't know what the car is going to do because you don't have the experience. It is great fun sliding in fifth gear.

I don't think I've ever seen a clean road in WRC in my life, the conditons are changing a lot. It is nice to get a good run out there. This is crazy.
