We were in a field for about ten seconds, we just lost the braking and went on to the field and it took forever to get out. I am quite surprised to just be that much slower than Greg.

Our gravel crew did a great job to clear up what we had from recce. It's a nice way to open the morning. Surprising how much heat comes into the tyre quickly. Got to trust it early on.

We slid wide in one junction and hit the rear left. It's ok, not so dramatic. Just taking a bit careful after that. Another challenging day, we've been closer to Greg, which is a nice improvement.

Just through a chicane under the trees, understeered into a haybale. Grip changing all the time, not easy. Softs all around? Not so sure. Could have been better.

It's all in the experience after all. We're quite high in the road order and hope it doesn't rain as much as everyone else is expecting. The road is nice and clean. Did Greg have a spin? He was lucky.

Sometimes you can't see where you're going! It's unbelievable, the sensation of speed going past the poles is honestly crazy and it's hard to pick the braking point. You see black marks from the others and you start to doubt. A lot to take from today, so much to learn. Need to commit more and trust the grip. Tomorrow is a big day, Greg's back and we can compare to him.

You think it's going to be a clean stage, but somehow these drivers are finding the cuts. It's enjoyable, we are trying to up the speed again, don't know if everyone realizes how hard it is to fight with these boys.
