What a weekend. I was pushing as much as I can. Yesterday I really enjoyed, today was honestly more of a struggle and more in my head to manage everything. The Fiesta has been working really well and myself and Shane have put in a lot of work and thanks to everyone who has been supported me. To think two years ago here I had a huge accident and I was lucky to come out of and to get a second on the same stage unreal.

It is tricky. I’m trying not to make any mistakes and keep pushing where I can. I felt like I had a good stage but there is only so much you can do when you are trying to control it. It is close but let’s just have a push in the last one and see where we end up.

It was a little bit tricky just trying to balance my approach. I think at the start I lost a bit of time and I was trying to attack to catch up. It is ok that we only dropped a little bit considering it wasn’t a perfect run.

We were just saying that I went a bit wide on the last corner. It was not a bad run and it is a bit gravely in some places there and it didn’t feel like I got good traction at some of the tight junctions. In general it was a good feeling.

Honestly we made good notes. It went well and this is a new stage for everyone so I always like to drive to my notes and it looks like a strong time. The first stage wasn’t great so I tried to have a bit more of a push in there but it is tricky as there is a lot of pollution as well so it is getting slower I would say. Let’s see what Jan does.

Maybe at the start in the first I was being a little bit too careful on the brakes compared to the gravel section yesterday as there is more tarmac. I feel like I left a bit in there but the rest of the stage was a pretty good rhythm and a good wake up call. Long way to go. I’ve known Jan Kopecký longer than he knows me so it is nice to be racing with him. We will keep pushing.
