It is absolutely epic, one of the best tarmac stages. I just wish I was ready to fight but we need to keep working on it and be back stronger for Wales and Croatia.

We have got through them and we have learned them and now we can step up the pace for the second loop. I’m just building confidence. The conditions are beautiful and I wish I was ready to fight in there. I’m not ready, I’m being careful.

It was scary. It is so hard to build back up the confidence but step by step. It is the speed and the trees close to the road and when you are not at one with the car it is so hard to take the risks, it is impossible really I have to be more patient than ever.

It was really really tough. I struggled in there, big time. Like I said yesterday I just need to keep the faith and the tide will turn. It has been a humbling rally but nine months away is difficult. Anyone who has driven these cars knows you need to be in them often.
