This is the best day of my life. I got to say such a big thanks to Opel for this opportunity. It would never be possible without them and all of my sponsors. Tom Kristensson, Hankook and everyone who has been a part of this. I never thought I would come this far and call myself a European champion but that proves with hard work and dedication you can do whatever you want. It feels so good.

Basically the driveshaft just broke four kilometres into the stage and there was nothing really we could do. We were leading with 40 seconds, which hurts a bit, but the game is on tomorrow, the championship is still up for grabs. If we do a good job maybe we can bring it home.

I wanted to take my first super special win but to be honest it doesn’t matter too much. I've driven this stage so many times in the simulator. It is really cool.
