(36 - Sei Karl-Markus / Leotoots Martin): It was great. Still a lot to get through anbd so much to lose. Nothing to win on the first stage, lets keep the momentum and push hard for tomorrow.
(35 - Schulz Timo / Wenzel Michael): Pretty tricky dtage, we had to try to keep the car in the line. Tricky day tomorrow ahead but looking forward to the stages tomorrow and Sunday.
(34 - Raftery Aoife / McKillop Hannah): We're feeling ready, we're really looking forward to it. There is a lot of people out there and massive thanks to the Motorsport Rally Ireland Academy for getting us here.
(33 - Polášek Daniel / Omelka Zdeněk): It was nice, a good start to the rally. It was a bit short, I would like it tomorrow. I think the Barum SSS is better. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
(32 - Carlberg Calle / Eriksen Jørgen): It was quite okay, it's always difficult! You just have to be clean and get through, I hate the thing that every driver says "the rally starts tomorrow," when it starts today! You can take 0.6sec out of someone on these kind of stages.
(31 - McRae Max / Fair Cameron): It was fine, not the most exciting thing in a 2WD car. we still enjoy these little stages, nice to get going for the start of the rally. Looks to be a proper day, first time for me over these big jumps and these stages so looking forward to it.
(30 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): That was slippery! Very much understeer and some oversteer as well. Taking it easy through the stage and for me, the real rally starts tomorrow.
(29 - Enok Patrick / Simm Silver): he grip was surprisingly high. I made a little error and I was centimetres from disaster. Lucky boys but the real action starts tomorrow.
(28 - Nõgene Joosep Ralf / Lesk Aleks): Actually quite difficult, couldn't get the nose turned in. We go again.
(27 - Jürgenson Romet / Oja Siim): This year we can improve the speed a lot, last year was just to get through. This year we have to push.
(26 - Charpentier Tristan / Maillefert Alexis): It went really well but the rally is tomorrow, so we went really steady and didn't want to take any risk. There is much more to lose than to win.
(25 - Ravenščak Martin / Ravenščak Dora): We're safely through, now we can see tomorrow to see what we will do.
(24 - Kohn Filip / Woodburn Tom): It was a quicker stage once you get through, it was fun and we enjoyed a lot. Just those rocks are looking for trouble.
(23 - Kazaz Kerem / Magalhães Hugo): It's more fun than in the game! It's a nice stage. I had the world record on EA Sports WRC.
(22 - Widłak Igor / Marczewski Michał): I'm happy to start this very hard rally. I don't like Super-Specials, I do a few mistakes but it's all good. I'm waiting for tomorrow.
(1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Do you want to know the ironic thing? In the WRC I was rubbish on all super-special stages, if only I knew this 10 years ago! The support is awesome, even though I may be getting older and greyer, the people that have come and supported us here from the other side of the world is a big deal.
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): Nothing special. Driving bad. I think it will be difficult, but I know cleaning the road in France so maybe I can use this experience tomorrow.We will try to enjoy, it will be hard to have a good day about the result. Just take the experience and be positive.
(3 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sergiu): It felt good. It was nice. At the beginning I made a little mistake. I expected a bit more grip, there are a lot more cars in front. I think the road has to be a lot cleaner. An okay stage, a really slow one, we will have to see for tomorrow.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): We will try to enjoy the rally, I think that will be the key point. I forgot to put the stage mode on the start so I don't know where I was in my head. Now I learnt after five years in the car it was time to learn this!
(5 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): I think we need to fix the gear lever, this is quite familiar from Rally Finland last year, we need to fix this.
(6 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): It was quite slippery, not a lot of grip but a clean run. Not a very fast one but we go through.
(7 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): It didn't feel particularly good, it was a bit slippery and could've been cleaner in there but good start. We need to keep it up.
(8 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): With a bit of wheelspin I think, I was not able to change gear and it is still so slippery. With a bit of loose gravel I think. Tomorrow is another day, the weather will be different but we'll see.
(9 - Larsen Frank Tore / Eriksen Torstein): It doesn't seem like that we are ready after qualifying in the first stage, but we need to continue learning and have fun this weekend. I will do the rain dance with Paddon tonight!
(10 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): Sometimes it is like you are driving in Finland maybe, but you have surface and gravel like in Latvia. Sometimes you can feel like that but otherwise it is a unique rally with very nice stages. It will be quite a challenge to do good because there is a lot of competition this weekend. We can't wait to get onto the stages. The big role this weekend will be the weather!
(11 - Costenaro Giacomo / Ometto Pietro Elia): It's amazing from the spectators. We hope the weather will also be sunny tomorrow.
(12 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): Just typical 'Mickey Mouse', you need to be quite careful there are a lot of stones to hit. The real rally starts tomorrow so a second is a lot better than I expected if I'm being honest.
(14 - Gryazin Nikolay / Mālnieks Andris): Not a bit of cleaning, a lot! I like how the car did the slow corners. I was really enjoying this stuff. I never really liked this stage because it was always too slippery,. For me the rally starts tomorrow. I think the guys behind will be much faster because the road is so slippery.
(15 - Virves Robert / Drew Craig): I hope I am the favourite! It would be nice to know for myself also about the weather, it looks like we should have everything. When we will have rain, this is the biggest problem I think. In the end, we can't do too much so it is the same for everybody.
(16 - Asunmaa Teemu / Mannisenmäki Ville): It's very nice. The last time was 2012 in a BMW, it was a little bit different. Different rally, different car but it is very nice to come here.
(17 - Korhola Benjamin / Virtanen Sebastian): It's pretty much the same as Finland, the surface is a bit different, a bit softer. Both are really high speed rallies and I've got a bit from that.
(18 - Jeets Gregor / Taniel Timo): Actually it is quite good to be at home city and to rally. It was so slippery, the starting position is not on our side but nothing to do now.
