INFORMATION ABOUT SS SHAKEDOWN
(26 - McErlean Joshua / Fulton James): It's gonna be a baptism of fire, it will be survival and patience. It's rallying, you have to enjoy a challenge too. We did a recce last year so we have an experience of some stages, but you have to be wary because conditions change here year in, year out.
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): If we can get past the first proper corner it is a big improvement. We tested the strong of this car in Finland quite well, so on this rough event it should be okay.
(24 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): There was some loose rocks, maybe it is because of that. The thing is to stay out of trouble, it is easy to say and then you need to do it. We will do our best so we'll see.
(23 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): When I score the points for me, mainly I need to work with my driving strategy because this race is more about driving safe and not pushing like hell. Even now we are not driving crazy in the shakedown because we are trying to understand the road. We are trying not to drive too much on the shakedown as we are saving the tyres for the road. Try not to drive too much on the shakedown and just drive smart.
(22 - Joona Lauri / Mannisenmäki Ville): I think it is quite rough already in shakedown and quite dusty, so the rally can be anything. At least we try to drive clean and keep good pace, anything can happen in this rally. In the shakedown everything was good and in the test it was fun, I think Ville and I have good co-operation for this rally.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): Just to be intelligent for sure, I think it is not the most fast who can win the rally, but for sure the plan is just to keep calm. The days are so long, but it is a nice feeling with the car and the plan is to enjoy with the car.
(20 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): It's still fun, on this stage it was so slippery that we can go a lot sideways, not so bad. This is a rough rally, it did not feel clever. It is a tricky rally, but I feel confident with how the car feels and I hope the pace is fine.
(19 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): It could be rough, could be very hard. Too much dust, don't see anything. It is good to drive a Puma, instead of a Rally2.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): We prepared a lot, watching a lot of onboards, of course we did two events in the summer break. It's one thing wanting to be fast, but we have to play smart because in this edition of EKO Acropolis Rally Greece, some things may happen.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): It's low grip on one of the corners, I almost stopped from the dust. Really happy with the car, it felt really good. I am really happy at the moment.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): My hope? To survive! I think this is most important for this rally. Two years ago we drove this stage, we worked a lot, let's see if this feeling goes for the next few days. Everything has improved, maybe myself also.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): The plan is always to be on the top step, we are still searching. We'll do our best, it is a tricky rally, you have to push in places. It can be challenging, especially with a lot of dust this morning.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Quite a lot of dust, slow down in a few places. It's going to be a tough weekend, very rough out there, not easy. Not sure anyone can be confident in these conditions but we want to try our best.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): We are here, we are fit, looking forward to it. The shakedown is extremely tricky with the dust. If it is so bad in the open, what will it be in the forest? I think with the conditions of Greece we are looking at a demanding rally.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It's been shocking in places to see the conditions, it is going to be a tough weekend for sure. Lots of hanging dust this morning, difficult to see where we go.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Good news to extend the contract with Hyundai into 2025. I knew for a little bit but very happy to carry on with Hyundai Motorsport. Great for me but great for the WRC that Hyundai is committed for next year. It is probably the toughest Greece we have ever seen, the puncture risk is super high. We are going to manage our speed, manage the cars and cross fingers for the punctures.
