INFORMATION ABOUT SS 2 | |
(33 - Lloyd Ioan / Williams Sion): It's quite tricky to drive front wheel with the handbrake, I made a couple of mistakes on this one. The real rally starts tomorrow.
(32 - McBride Kyle / Mullen Darragh): Been quite good, very tricky in there to be fair. Good to get the first few stages together in this car. Happy with those two stages and we're looking forward to the stages tomorrow.
(31 - Brennan Jack / McGrath John): The handbrake is nearly worn out at this stage, enjoyable to race.
(30 - Pesavento Davide / Zanella Flavio): I try my best, before I made one mistake. Now is better. Good round.
(29 - Raftery Aoife / McKillop Hannah): A big relief to get it done! We struggled a lot, glad to get it out the way. It is a big relief because you just want to get it done.
(28 - Schulz Timo / Wenzel Michael): Really good start to the rally, the stage is so much fun. So many people cheering for us, I am happy with the start. Let's see what we can do tomorrow, I think we are fighting for the front.
(27 - Polášek Daniel / Omelka Zdeněk): It was a funny stage, quite short and good and I'm glad we did it twice. Some fun.
(26 - McRae Max / Fair Cameron): It was a tricky little stage especially with the front wheel drive on the cold tyre, it's nice to see so many people out here and I feel it's gonna be a good weekend.
(25 - Carlberg Calle / Eriksen Jørgen): It is difficult, very difficult. Even the super specials can be quite important sometimes. To be driving close to the sea here makes us feel like we are back in Las Palmas again. We'll see what the weather does and what tyres we use this weekend.
(24 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): I don't really like this stage, I am always too careful but this time we need to push because there are four stages on this one. We need to push but I am still a little too scared.
(23 - Kelly Eamonn / Kennedy Rory): Battling on roads like this would be mega, it is hard to gain much in there and we have to be careful. We'll see how tomorrow goes but we have to be careful.
(19 - Kohn Filip / Woodburn Tom): Quite amazing, lot of people. Quite a tricky stage, lots of handbrake turns and it was quite fun.
(18 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sebastian): It felt good, it is a really nice stage for the people around here that come to follow us. For sure it is nothing compared to what we will have tomorrow, but it was also some fun.
(17 - von Thurn und Taxis Albert / Christian Frank): Tricky, very tight, a lot of places where you can rip out a tyre!
(16 - Allen Philip / Drew Craig): I run a little wide on the right rear corner, obviously cost me a bit of time. My fault.
(15 - Pearson Garry / Barritt Daniel): It is tricky to be fair, nothing we haven't seen before. The organisers keep making it harder and harder so all credit to them and great to see the fans out.
(14 - Williams James / Whittock Ross): To be honest I wasn't looking forward to it, but it was so much fun. It was like being Ken Block or something and that is my dream. So much fun.
(12 - Evans Meirion / Jackson Jonathan): Never driven that aggressively here, usually stuck in traffic to be honest! Nearly stalled on the start line but luckily we didn't, now we're just excited for tomorrow.
(11 - Devine Callum / O’Sullivan Noel): I'm happy, absolutely! Very happy, got through okay and the time is not bad.
(10 - Edwards Matthew / Moynihan David): Very careful, we had a pop off in there which we had on the shakedown so we'll have to look out for that tomorrow. Happy to be here now but just looking forward to tomorrow.
(9 - Cronin Keith / Galvin Mikie): We had a trouble with something in the front left, we have clipped sandbag, we'll check it in service.
(8 - Ingram Chris / Kihurani Alexander): It was a really good stage, this is rally and scuffs happen. As long as four wheels are on it and we're on the podium, I'll be happy.
(7 - Pryce Osian / Evans Rhodri): Tricky stage to start the rally, not too happy with the car as it seems to have understeer issues. Not a great start to the rally but the real action starts tomorrow.
(6 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): I have a little family mascot, we have carried him for a few years and he has brought us some luck sometimes. We've carried him everywhere we've gone rallying.
(5 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): It's like trying to park in a multi storey car park! Trying to curb brand new rims. We dropped a bit of time in the first pass, not the fastest through here either and think we dropped a bit of time.
(4 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It was funny, better in the previous one than this one. We tried to push a little bit more but that is not always the correct way to do this stage. Tomorrow will be a different one.
(3 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): It is quite tricky, in the past I have more confidence on these stages. In places I was really pushing and in some really tricky. Congrats to Hayden.
(2 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): I think I have to learn something because on city stage I lose too much time every time. I have to work for tomorrow as tomorrow is the real start. The stages are behind us.
(1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Barum ruined our super special record! Great to see so many people out as well, glorious Welsh day and perfect way to start the weekend. As they say, the early bird gets the worm and that is us tomorrow. |
