INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1 | |
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's a difficult weekend ahead, I tried to be clean. I don't know if it was too much or not. Lots of spectators around and I hope they saw something.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): I'd love to be leading the championship after this weekend. Let's see how it goes, long tough day ahead tomorrow.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): Sometimes you need to take risks, we are quite confident with our tyre choice and we are saving them for tomorrow. It's nice to have stages like this with the fans.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It is getting more and more important [to win], but it is also important to get into the rhythm, start to feel better and have more flow. We can try and push so let's see for tomorrow.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I tried to be careful on the tyres. We tried our best with what we have.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): We will see, I tried to enjoy it and push every stage. It was a big surprise how slippery it was but lots of fun and hopefully our tyres are okay.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's not so nice, we love to drive for the fans but we need to save the tyres for tomorrow. I tried to take care in donuts.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): For us it's just about grabbing experience, didn't have a lot of mileage previous years so we're trying to change that this year. Bit frustrating on the donuts for the fans, I didn't want to be too heavy for the throttle.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Carrera Cándido): To make this stage I was really excited. Tomorrow is a long day and we need to do tomorrow with the same tyres, so I didn't want to use the tyres a lot. I will try to win at least.
(41 - Araújo Armindo / Ramalho Luís): It is fantastic, the crowd is so good and enthusiastic. We are always on the limit to do a good show for these people so it is an honour for me to be part of this party and open this event.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): The plan is the proper rally starts tomorrow. This stage was fun but not for the tyres, for the fans. We need to push. Let's see tomorrow.
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I will never put that side of me behind me, I'm a showman. It runs in the family! It's a shame, it's fantastic evening, fantastic people. The [artwork on the] tyres are a small joke. We need four tyres tomorrow, but a big shoutout to the fans.
(25 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): Difficult. You want to have fun but you need to think about the tyres. I was trying to be smooth on the roundabout, the jump was fine. Still, I was trying to be super smooth with the throttle on the roundabout - I wanted to create the smoke so the people would like it but we have to be smart.
(23 - López José María / Vázquez David): It was quite a good stage, let's see tomorrow. For the first part, I will just try to be confident and improving little by little will be our target.
(22 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): To be honest, the way the car was pitching backwards, I couldn't see the front. All OK.
(24 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): I hit the concrete, I couldn't see where the front is going. Bit slippery, I need to investigate.
(29 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): It was a really nice stage, really slippery. It was not the fastest time but at least it was fun for the spectators. The real rally starts tomorrow so we will try to push and be quite fast. |
