Our day has been down going up rather than up going down. I am a big believer in trusting the process if things don't go right. I know we're in a big competition with some big names about, but we just have to trust the process and try and go through it.

What's different? The lines you can take because of the knowledge from the first run, you know a little bit more after service because you know where the dirty stuff will be. The car is changing all the time. At the start you're trying to get everything to come in and at the end you're letting it all go, eg the brakes, et cetera. Everything gets hotter.

A gravel tyre would be the right choice. We were talking to Cronin who had completely different options, on the dry stuff you can go but on the tough boggy stuff it's hard. There's lots of options.

It was nice to show a little bit of pace now. Really tricky towards the end, lots of cuts and lots of mud like usual. We're dialling into it but still not particularly comfortable.

Came a bit quick on us that's all, lots of fast stuff then slow and wet runs after. They usually catch you out. I though the first 4km was all flat, we had a half spin at the first acute hairpin. Shame about Williams, we had an otherwise reasonable run. The tyres are okay. It's a great showcase for the area, you almost want to stop halfway through the stage and have a look around because it's phenomenal. Great place to go for a picnic.

Very careful, we had a pop off in there which we had on the shakedown so we'll have to look out for that tomorrow. Happy to be here now but just looking forward to tomorrow.
