Things were looking pretty okay by Saturday afternoon then the wheels fell off the wagon. We struggled a bit with the puncture on the last one yesterday and another one this morning. Bit disappointed this time, but that's part of the game and we have to move on to the next one.

The puncture happened very early on. I touched a bank early on There was a slow puncture the whole way through so I had to manage it.

It happens it came very unexpectedly. The deflation was very sudden and I was very close to a crash as I couldn't stop at the next corner.

It was super rough. I tried to balance going quickly and not trying to damage anything. It is difficult when it is like that.

It was a bit different in character and there was a lot of surface changes so it was not so easy to judge.

This is quite a difficult new stage with a lot of cutting. The end is quite tricky in the trees, there is mixed grip. I'm just doing everything we can. I didn't feel like we had a good run in the middle of the stage, but the rest was ok.

There was some patches of dust at the start but nothing too major. It perhaps wasn't smooth enough, but all ok.

It was a quite a tricky stage and was very abrasive. It was not the best feeling but let's see.

I tried to push a bit more. It was a more forgiving surface in here but it doesn't feel like we are going anywhere. I'm under no illusions the guys are coming fast behind but that is the story of the day. We knew it was going to be tough and it was even more tough than expected.

It is pretty similar. It was not too rough and few unexpected stones but nothing major. We are trying to do what we can. It is not easy to get a good feeling with conditions so loose.

It's quite abrasive, obviously. The morning's generally been much worse than even what we expected, and we expected it to be bad, so yeah, not been too easy out there. For sure I didn't drive so well [on the previous stage] either, but the road sweeping was horrendous, these massive stones on the uphill hairpins, so for sure I didn't do a great job of it, but it's still very bad.
