Now we've got to the finish. I suppose one corner ruined a really strong result. But that's how it goes, you know, the disappointment from that will make us learn. To be able to set the times that we did yesterday, we have to be pretty happy with that against some of the best here in Rome with a lot of experience.

It's just trying to protect the tyre. I'm sure everybody's saying the same. Just trying to be patient and it's quite a unique driving style. You feel like you're going slow, but I think it's the fastest way to save the tyre. It's not easy. Like I say, very unique, but we're learning.

It's difficult, the guys have done that stage last year. On the wide road, it's all about having confidence in your pace notes, carrying the speed, and committing to the exit of the corner. So, sometimes I'm doing that, and then sometimes I'm not, and it's too dangerous to chance it because, you know, one will catch you out, so. But generally, not too bad. The car feels nice. The Michelin tyres are working well, so we're enjoying it.

Near the start of the stage, up the hill in the cut, the cut is obviously getting further and further, and it just seemed like the natural line. I didn't see anything, and then just felt the impact, so. Yeah, so disappointing. Really annoyed with that one.

That's good, to be honest. I said to Liam, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost a chunk in there, because I just tried to completely change my driving style. I'm just trying to save the tyres, and feels like you're going so slow, so, yeah, it works.

Understeer central. On a flat out left-hander down the hill there, just saw the bale on the outside of the road. I'm sure everybody's saying the same thing. Everything's just cooked at this point of the loop. But, yeah, I guess we're in the mix. There's a jump to, the really fast guys, but I think it's been an okay loop. That's quite a different stage to the rest of what we've seen. So, yeah, plenty to sort of review now before the next loop.

When you get onto the wide road after, I don't know, 20km of narrow road pushing on the car, you just have to keep the reins on. It's easy on the long corners to run out of road, so. Again, a bit like the first stage, just trying to manage it.

I don't know if I cooked the front tyres a little bit too much before the wide road. Yeah, I was expecting to have a bit more precision down the last 10km, and for sure, I just felt like I was trying to drive slower to manage it. So, yeah, there was more time in there. We just gotta try and figure out how we find it.

Okay, we dropped quite a bit, but, you know, when it feels like the eyes of the world are watching you, you just want to get through, and it's all about being neat, and it's more difficult to do that sometimes. But, yeah, to do the run around Rome tonight, do this in front of everybody, in front of the Colosseum, it's a huge thanks to Stellantis Motorsport and Rally Academy, everybody's supporting us to allow Liam and I to be here. So, yeah, we'll try and work hard tomorrow, enjoy it, and, yeah, see what we can do.
