(42 - Peralta Juan Carlos / Pérez Couto Víctor): We had a mistake on the last roundabout, but it happens.
(41 - Lüth Joep / van Heun Bart): It was the first time, but we make a small mistake with the donut. So we had to go a little bit back. Ready for tomorrow.
(40 - Manderla Matěj / Vichtora Ondřej): Crazy, but the atmosphere is great. It's pretty scary within the concrete blocks, but we loved it.
(39 - Mosca Adrien / Amblard Julie): Not the easiest exercise to come back to tarmac, but okay, everything is good. We had a very good test, very good recce. The rally is beautiful.
(38 - Gîrtofan Andrei / Pulpea Dorin): Amazing. This place, this moment. My first ERC for me, here in Rome, it's wonderful. I'm so grateful for everything what happened for me and my team, and I want to thanks to MRF team for my tyres, for the opportunity, all my sponsors, and I'm so, so happy to be here.
(37 - Constant Louis / Martini Maxime): For us, it's the first time, but yes, the race is tomorrow, and let's see what we can do.
(36 - Német Gábor / Németh Gergely): Usually the city stages are not for, not for me, especially the lights was a little bit disturbing, but we passed through without any problem.
(34 - Blach Roberto / Sosa Daniel): It's amazing, the atmosphere here in the Colosseum, it's amazing. I lost a lot of time here because I can't see nothing in the start of the stage with the flashes. I lost a lot of seconds, but okay. I think that the real rally starts tomorrow.
(33 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): It's really a technical stage. It's not my favourite, but it's a cool place, so we're enjoying.
(32 - Marchino Filippo / Kihurani Alexander): I mean, no words. Truly no words. Second to marrying my wife and my daughters, a highlight. True highlight. Unbelievable. The fans here are top-notch.
(31 - Ceccato Vittorio / Tiraboschi Stefano): That is amazing. It's the second time for us here in Rome, and we are not so young. It's really amazing, really amazing. The team is giving me a super car, and then we hope to do a really good race tomorrow.
(22 - Sarrazin Pablo / Roche Yannick): It was okay. The plan was to take no risk, clearly, because it's like a really, really dangerous stage. It's good for the fan, but less for us. But it's okay, tomorrow we start P3 after an amazing quali. We'll try to push like this morning on tomorrow and Sunday.
(21 - Pelamourgues Arthur / Pouget Bastien): Was I trying to warm the tyres on the straight by weaving around? Yeah, exactly. Did it work? I don't know, it's in my mind. That's better like that.
(20 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): I think it was not the perfect choice with my special shoes, but the tyre choice now is better than my shoes.
(16 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): Well, that's not bad. It's better than I expected. It was an amazing stage with amazing atmosphere of spectators and whole Rome. It's such a beautiful, beautiful scenery, and thanks to organisers, they made this happen.
(15 - Ragues Pierre / Pesenti Julien): It's a nice stage, beautiful one. We try to don't take any risk, but at least like the other guys. But no, we enjoy. Tomorrow it's a beautiful day.
(14 - Bulacia Marco / López Alejandro): This was very difficult because the tyres were really cold. On the first braking of the chicane, we locked the tyres and it was a bit scary moment.
(12 - Charpentier Tristan / Barral Florian): I don't care about the time because I didn't stall at the donuts, and this is a massive thing because donuts, I'm always missing the donuts, and this, I didn't miss so much, so I'm really happy.
(18 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): Sometimes you imagine in your life something in your dream, but to be here on the front to Colosseum, as an official driver to Lancia, it's a nice atmosphere. I remember my holiday with my family here when I was just a student or a child, and when you can live that, you can say thank you to all the guys who support me during all my career.
(11 - Stříteský Dominik / Krajča Ondřej): It was fun doing some donuts for the spectators. We enjoyed a lot and let's see tomorrow.
(19 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): It's a learning process also. I'm surprised the time is good because in one braking I was too early. It feels quite okay on this one, with the balance with the car, so it was doing itself. But it's historical to drive on Lancia near Colosseum.
(10 - Kauppinen Tuukka / Luhtinen Topi): It's clean. A little bit surprised, the grip is very good. But yeah, it's nice to see a lot of people. This is a very nice stage.
(30 - Boulenc Benjamin / Barozzi-Gauze Chloé): It is amazing to drive in front of the Colloseum. It's great. Thank you.
(9 - Matulka Jakub / Kielar Patryk): Usually I don't attack these stages because you can make easily a mistake. And in this situation when we stand with the car three hours and start with the cold tyres, it's a lot harder. So, steady run, not a good donut, but it's okay.
(29 - Sulpizio Liberato / Fenoli Manuel): Ah, is a beautiful, beautiful stage. Thank you.
(8 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): Okay, we dropped quite a bit, but, you know, when it feels like the eyes of the world are watching you, you just want to get through, and it's all about being neat, and it's more difficult to do that sometimes. But, yeah, to do the run around Rome tonight, do this in front of everybody, in front of the Colosseum, it's a huge thanks to Stellantis Motorsport and Rally Academy, everybody's supporting us to allow Liam and I to be here. So, yeah, we'll try and work hard tomorrow, enjoy it, and, yeah, see what we can do.
(2 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): It's interesting for me because many years ago I was quite good on Mickey Mouse stages, but some of the stages were not easy for us. But I think this year we are driving after a little bit more number of cars than usually, and it was a little bit better grip. I was trying to be quite smooth. It's good.
(27 - Andolfi Fabio / Menchini Marco): This stage is beautiful because for me it's very important to be in the front of Colosseum.
(7 - Tempestini Simone / Maior Francesca): To be honest, it's not so tricky here. Tricky will be for sure tomorrow. But, yeah, unfortunately, I don't think it's a good time for me. I expected to be a bit more fast. But I don't know what happened. When I tried to change after the second, the first chicane, I want to put the third gear, and I saw that the lever is a bit blocked in the front. So when I pulled to put the third gear, it entered the fourth gear. But I knew that it will happen because I saw the gear lever. That's it. In a stage like this, these kind of things are important, and I think I lose a bit of time there. But I normally like this stage, so I'm happy to be here also this year.
(26 - Avbelj Boštjan / De Guio Elia): Last year we had a power stage here, but this year you can win little but lose a lot, so we take it a little more easy and, yeah, the feeling is good.
(6 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It was a good run. We need to enjoy at the maximum this situation because it happens once per year to be in front of the Colosseum. And we need to thank, of course, the organisation of Rally Roma Capitale because of this is simply crazy. It was a good run, of course. We enjoyed it, and now it starts the difficult job tomorrow.
(25 - Campedelli Simone / Canton Tania): We enjoy it. We started on a really, really cold tyre. It could have been very dangerous kilometres. But it's okay, it's just the beginning.
(5 - Reiersen Isak / Gustafsson Stefan): It's wild. It's actually wild. Just going here, the organisers doing such a great job closing almost the whole city down, and you feel like this, this kid from the farms in Torsby at home, it's crazy. But yeah, nice to have started the rally. Last time we did one of these stages on stone cold tires, I spun, so we are making progress.
(24 - Daprà Roberto / Guglielmetti Luca): Good. Tricky in some places. We can do for sure something better, but we did, I think, a lovely donut. So I think that's mostly of the time that we gained is for that. And, yeah, hope for a stage win, but anyway, the race is tomorrow. But happy that we did a good stage time in front of this crazy and incredible colosseum.
(23 - Crugnola Andrea / Beltrame Luca): Quite a big mistake in the chicane. It wasn't the best run. Could have been better, but okay. We'll see the other guys for sure. With the rubber down, they will be faster.
(1 - Suninen Teemu / Haapala Antti): That was amazing to drive here. A lot of people, relatively okay stage. I was a bit careful with the stone cold tires. We've been standing like two hours, three hours on there, so it was quite slippy at the beginning, but for sure it will get slightly better.
Weather in Rome is really hot, temperature almost 40°C.
