INFORMATION ABOUT SS 4
(58 - Otto Nicolas / Magalhães Hugo): retired after SS 4
(25 - Campedelli Simone / Canton Tania): They are flying. Honestly, looks like I had a good run. For sure the road is much more dirty. That's true. But six seconds is half a second per kilometre. We have to be realistic. We don't have it at the moment.
(7 - Tempestini Simone / Maior Francesca): I feel good. Unfortunately, I'm not happy at all with our pace. I'm completely unhappy about that, but I'm enjoying the stages and I'm having fun. Unfortunately, I expect on this kind of stages to be a bit faster. That's the truth. But also, in the previous stage, I really felt that I can't keep the pace and stay safe. So I have to reset a bit and try to go through the stages as fast as I can.
(16 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): I was struggling quite a lot, moving, sliding a lot. And also inside the car, it's quite an expensive sauna, and sadly, there is no air condition. It will be a tough afternoon, I think, because the heat will be even higher, and also there are much more stones now after a lot of cars passing by, so I think you need to be clever to really run smooth.
(33 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): It's not been easy for us. Struggling with finding the grip. I think we are lacking a bit of grip in the front. But otherwise, yeah, it's extremely tough with the heat.
(15 - Ragues Pierre / Pesenti Julien): A little bit off the line and I lose the rear, and we stuck in the mountain. We lost time, but we are here and we can enjoy the rest of the day.
(8 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): Understeer central. On a flat out left-hander down the hill there, just saw the bale on the outside of the road. I'm sure everybody's saying the same thing. Everything's just cooked at this point of the loop. But, yeah, I guess we're in the mix. There's a jump to, the really fast guys, but I think it's been an okay loop. That's quite a different stage to the rest of what we've seen. So, yeah, plenty to sort of review now before the next loop.
(20 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): I tried to attack because this one was more clean, without dirty places, only one, so it was easier for me. But just depends on my road position, and our road position depends on the qualifying stage, and I was not very fast on the qualifying stage, so that's why I'm here. That's why I am slow.. But that's not so bad. We are in Rome, we just miss, I think, Julius Caesar.
(19 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): Morning was quite good, especially with our position. We had much dirty places and for sure the tyre also is different to everyone, so we cannot really compare to the fast guys on the front. But at least we get some experience and working with the car. But so far, I really enjoy these bumpy roads. Somehow I just have the good memories from the past from Barum Rally.
(14 - Bulacia Marco / López Alejandro): This one we try to push a bit, but I think the car is a bit too soft. We will see if we can improve it for the afternoon. Also, myself, I need to improve quite a lot with pace notes, especially on the dirty places.
(21 - Pelamourgues Arthur / Pouget Bastien): That's so difficult. I was too clean.
(9 - Matulka Jakub / Kielar Patryk): Not easy. Not a good pace from us, not a good rhythm. Here was, from the feeling, a bit better, but yeah, the last part, it was feeling like a puncture on the rear, so yeah, let's see.
(11 - Stříteský Dominik / Krajča Ondřej): I will try. Let's see. On the second stage this morning, I cannot find the rhythm. But it is what it is. Here, we feel much better. We try to push, but still stay on the safety side, but I think the time is good.
(18 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): I don't know what is the problem. It's only when the inside of the corner is slippery. But we try to work, to be honest. I am a bit frustrated when you see the time, but we are here for work and no better place for that.
(6 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): We are improving a little bit. Probably, I didn't make the perfect decision in terms of setup, but now we are improving, so it means that we are going in a correct way. But we are understanding a little bit more on this stage, and it seems like it's a little bit better in terms of time. But this afternoon is going to be a little bit more difficult, I would say, especially the second one already plenty of the rocks were moving.
(4 - Basso Giandomenico / Granai Lorenzo): We struggled in this first loop of stages. I am not driving as I normally do, maybe it's because I am not racing so often, but I am nevertheless happy.
(26 - Avbelj Boštjan / De Guio Elia): At the beginning we hit one rock, rear left, and I thought we got a puncture.
(2 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): There is some issue. There are some moments where there are big cracks and I don't hear Simon, and then directly after, everything is okay. But it's hard, especially on the new, long stages, to be in the proper focus.
(23 - Crugnola Andrea / Beltrame Luca): My feeling is not very good. The downest section was quite bad, talking about the rhythm. So we just need to work a bit harder and try to, let's say, find a better pace, because in some sections we are fast, some sections we are quite slow, so I'm not happy.
(22 - Sarrazin Pablo / Roche Yannick): It was a difficult morning for us, clearly. We did not know why. For sure the first one was my fault, but in this one I pushed like yesterday, so, I don't know.
(1 - Suninen Teemu / Haapala Antti): Not great, but we had small things there, so that's something to learn. First time of this type of section, so I think we know.
(24 - Daprà Roberto / Guglielmetti Luca): Yeah, I felt good. The last part we lost, I think, a few seconds because we had some very big sliding, so I think that maybe we ended up the tyres because the mileage was very long. So, hopefully also the other drivers had the same issue in the last part. And, yeah, we tried to do our best in that stage until the last kilometre we were doing a good job. So, yeah, anyway, happy for the morning loop, and very good time for Andrea in the previous stage, and we continue like this.
