It was awesome. It was not without any mistake for sure, of course we made some. We would like to say huge thanks to everyone for good job done, to Škoda Motorsport for the amazing change to compete, to Pavel because he was perfect, to my family who supported me, especially in my intermediate age. I do not want to look at my records right now, maybe later when I will be sitting somewhere and drinking beer. Yet I am not 100% fit so we took it a little bit easy. I am happy to be competing in the Barum Rally, it is something special here.

I was trying not to make a mistake. Some places were very rough, there were a lot of loose sections. I am driving carefully, no hand braking, no big spins with the steering wheel.

We have been doing well in this stage but we do still have two stages ahead. I am trying to keep myself in good rhythm and maintain the concentration. The car is working perfectly.

There is no pressure, but road conditions very tricky, lot of loose stuff. You have to stay fully focused.

Yes, it is OK, it was a very nice stage. At first, it was very narrow, we were really struggling with the grip so it was hard to trust the track. In the next stages there could be some more adhesive tarmac which would help me to control the car better.

I was pushing a lot but it was the first stage today. In cuts there is a lot of loose gravel so we have to be careful. I do not think so, I think that Alexey will put everything in his driving and push more.
